Can I request deletion of my data?

Yes — you’re always in control and can ask us to permanently delete your account and data.

Updated over a month ago

We believe parents should always stay in control of their information. If you no longer want to use Kiri, you can request deletion of your data at any time.

🗑 How to request deletion

  • Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my account.”

  • Make sure to send the request from the same email address linked to your Kiri account, so we can confirm your identity.

🔒 What happens when we delete your data

  • All of your child’s journal entries, profile photos, and growth data are permanently removed from our systems.

  • The data will no longer be accessible to you, your caregivers, or Kiri.

  • Deletion is irreversible — once it’s gone, we can’t bring it back.

📊 What about aggregated data?

  • We may continue to use anonymized, aggregated data (for example, overall sleep or feeding patterns across all families).

  • This data cannot be linked back to your child.

👉 Summary: Yes — you can request deletion anytime by emailing [email protected]. This will permanently erase your child’s journal and profile data from Kiri.
