What kinds of events can I log by speaking?

From sleep and feeds to growth milestones — Kiri understands the moments that matter.

Updated over a month ago

Kiri’s voice logging is designed to cover the most common parts of your baby’s day, so you can capture everything without lifting a finger. Just tap the microphone and speak naturally — Kiri will recognize your words and turn them into entries.

Here’s what you can log with your voice:

💤 Sleep

  • Naps

  • Bedtime and wake-up times

  • Nap length or total sleep duration

🍼 Feeding

  • Breastfeeding (duration of feed)

  • Bottle feeding (amount or duration)

  • Solids (meals, snacks, or new foods)

💩 Diapers

  • Wet diapers

  • Dirty diapers

  • Mixed (wet + dirty)

  • Type and color

🤸 Activities

  • Tummy time

  • Playtime sessions

  • Other milestones or free-text notes

📈 Growth & Health Metrics

  • Weight

  • Height/length

  • Head circumference

  • Temperature

⏱️ Backdating & Time Tags

You can add times to log events from earlier:

  • “Noah had a bottle at 2am.”

  • “Ella slept for 90 minutes starting at 11.”

Notes

  • Kiri supports both imperial and metric units.

  • You can mention your child’s name to direct the entry to the right profile.

  • Everything you log with your voice can also be edited manually later if needed.

👉 Summary: If it’s part of your baby’s daily routine — sleep, feeds, diapers, activity, or growth — you can log it with your voice in Kiri.
