How do I log entries with my voice?

Tap the microphone, speak naturally, and Kiri will do the rest.

Updated over a week ago

Logging with your voice is one of the easiest ways to capture your child’s day. Instead of tapping around, just tap the microphone button and say what happened. Kiri will turn your words into a journal entry.

You can log a wide range of events with your voice:

💤 Sleep

  • “Emma slept for 2 hours at 3pm.”

  • “Noah’s nap for 45 minutes.”

  • “Maya went to bed at 8:30pm.”

  • Breastfeeding

    • “Ella breastfed for 20 minutes.”

  • Bottle feeding

    • “Leo had a 5-ounce bottle at 6.”

  • Solids

    • “Sofia ate solids for lunch.”

💩 Diapers

  • “Arjun’s diaper was wet.”

  • “Lily had a dirty diaper at 2am.”

🤸 Tummy Time & Activity

  • “Sam did tummy time for 15 minutes.”

  • “Jackson played on the mat at 10.”

📈 Growth & Health Metrics

    • “Ava’s height is 72 centimeters.”

  • Head Circumference

    • “Maya’s head circumference is 42 cm.”

  • Temperature

    • “Sofia’s temperature is 99.5°F.”

⏱️ Backdating entries

You can include a time to log something from earlier:

  • “Ella had a bottle at 4am.”

  • “Leo slept for 1 hour starting at 2:30.”

Notes

  • Kiri supports both imperial and metric units.

  • You can mention your child’s name if you’re tracking more than one.

  • If you ever need to correct something, you can edit entries manually afterwards.

👉 Summary: Tap the mic, talk as if you’re telling a friend what happened, and Kiri will capture it all — from feeds and sleep to diapers and growth milestones.
