What entry types can I log by speaking?

Voice logging supports core daily entries and condition entries including diabetes, fever, GI, asthma, and allergy.

Updated over a week ago

Voice logging is designed for the moments when your hands are full and speed matters. You can speak all major Kiri entry types, then review and refine the entry if you want more detail.

Entry types you can voice-log

  • Feeding: breastfeeding, pumping, bottle, solids.

  • Care and routines: diaper, sleep, tummy time.

  • Growth: weight, height, head circumference.

  • Health: temperature, vaccine, medication, GI, asthma, fever, allergy, diabetes.

What voice logging is best at

  • Capturing the event quickly while it is happening or still fresh.

  • Saving you from tapping through the full entry flow in the moment.

  • Giving you a strong first draft that you can edit if needed.

Condition entries after voice logging

For GI, asthma, fever, allergy, and diabetes logs, voice is a fast way to create the entry. After it is saved, you can open the entry and add richer detail such as severity, triggers, symptoms, Bristol stool type, pulse ox, blood glucose, exposure timing, and other condition-specific fields.

Tips for better results

  • Say one event at a time in a short, natural phrase.

  • Include timing words when they matter, such as "30 minutes ago" or "after lunch."

  • Review the saved entry if the details are important or medically relevant.

  • Add or correct condition-specific fields after the voice draft is created.
