Who can access my child’s journal entries?

Only you and the people you invite.

Updated over a month ago

Your child’s journal belongs to you, and you decide who gets access. Kiri is built so that only authorized users you choose can view or log entries.

👩‍👩‍👧 Primary account holder

  • As the parent who created the account, you always have access to your child’s full journal.

👥 Invited caregivers and pediatricians

  • You can invite parents, caregivers, or pediatricians to share access.

  • Invites are child-specific — if you have more than one child, you control which profiles each person can see.

  • Once invited, caregivers can view, log, and edit entries for that child in real time.

🖼 Profile photos too

  • Journal entries and profile images are visible only to you and invited users.

  • They are encrypted and secure so no one else can view them.

🚫 Who cannot access your journal

  • Other Kiri users outside your invite list cannot see your child’s data.

👉 Summary: Only you and the caregivers you invite can access your child’s journal entries and photos. You’re always in control of who sees what
